Formed in late 2001, this rocking'
band includes
Anthony on
drums, Pete on
bass guitar, and
Jimmy on lead
guitar and
vocals.
The high point
of their career
to this point
was a Saturday
night Save
CBGB's gig where
they were called
back out on
stage for an
encore. They got
the whole club
moving to a spot
on rendition of
the Ramones
classic Beat on
the Brat. You
just can't beat
that, seeing
bodies flying
while you are
playing a
Ramones song on
the same stage
they started out
on.
These three guys
coming straight
out of Queens,
New York are not
only about
covers. They
certainly have a
knack for
writing catchy
as hell original
tunes that's
sure to get your
toes-a-tapping.
When they do
bust out the
covers they'll
be sure to add
some booze
fueled spice to
what is a stale
old tune if
necessary.
They've cut
their teeth,
paid their dues
and their bar
tabs at some of
the greatest
area venues for
live music
including
CBGB's, the
Continental,
Webster Hall,
L'Amours, Don
Hills, Kenny's
Castaways, The
Dublin Pub, The
Nutty Irishman,
Mulcahy's,
just to name a
few.
Banned's live
shows are second
to none and
these boys never
disappoint. Come
to a show have a
few drinks and
see for
yourself.
We'll see ya in
the pit...
